I have had series of "what-is-happiness" encounters in the past days. Many were inspiring in a way how to have a different perspective on what "happiness" is. Of course there is this ATTITUDE thing that matters and so how does it affect one to be happy. I don't oppose that fact ; however, I believe that there are more to that. Recognizing and accepting that moments can vary help in a way how we see things in life.
For me, happiness is not a permanent thing neither a vast emotional state the dominates the whole being. Being happy all the time is never normal as it is natural to have setbacks from time to time. As humans, we respond to the nature of situations that we deal with. We never rejoice when we are in trouble neither when we are hurt or in pain. We embrace the beauty of these harsh realities and live with life. But when we become aware that these are never in permanent phase and state, just as joy and contentment that come in their time, then we can live better and can welcome more bliss and cheer .
When we are in the right attitude and mindset that our existence is a blend of all the wonders and woes then we get more chances of enjoying what happiness really is. Being happy is definitely both a disposition and a feeling and so the recognition and understanding its nature. It is a cluster of moments that we dwell upon and finally accepting that it is a sequence of gloom.
